BNI Acorn Celebrates £500,000 Success!

Since the Acorn branch of BNI launched in June 2009, our members have passed an incredible £500,000 worth of business between themselves. It’s a landmark worth celebrating so we invited local businesses to join us for our ½ Million Pound celebration.

The event took place on Wednesday 9th March, and we were delighted that so many business people from Enfield, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Southgate and Barnet wanted to share our success. Our guests were given the opportunity to network informally, to take part in a BNI meeting over lunch, and to sample our stunning celebratory cake, of course!

Hakan Onur, owner of property maintenance and building company H.A.C., was one of our 30 guests. He said, "Before the event I really didn’t know what to expect, but the members of Acorn gave me such a warm welcome. It was inspiring to see so many local businesses working together. The team spirit between them is amazing, and they seem to think more about helping each other than they do about themselves. There was a lot of business being passed around, and I can certainly see how BNI would benefit a business owner like me."

We’d like to thank every one of our guests for taking the time to celebrate with us. And here’s to BNI Acorn reaching our £1 million mark in the next year!
